Upcycled Desk Turned into Nightstands

These vintage desks are SUPER cool, but it seems that people aren’t using these smaller sized desks much these days. I decided to cut the center out of this desk and make them into nightstands, here’s how they turned out…

Well, I can’t take any credit for the cutting part of this project, that was all the husband…Thanks John! I watched him do it though, and it wasn’t as hefty of a project as I was envisioning. He literally cut the middle right out… give it a try!

The body of this piece is painted in General Finishes “Antique White”. The drawer fronts were sanded down to the natural wood, and white washed with the same GF paint color, then sealed with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat.

I LOVE how these turned out, and am looking forward to doing more in the future as they come my way! Here are the finished photos, Enjoy! ❤️
