Simple changes, big impact… that’s the goal!
Fall is amazing, it’s such a cozy season! Within days, as the weather cools off, we are ready to pull out our sweaters and buy all the pumpkin things! In years past, I have always felt the need to go out and buy MORE Fall decor, MORE plastic pumpkins, MORE wreaths! This year, I decided to say no to all of that. I pulled out my “Fall Decor” bin and said…ok… let’s simplify here. What makes our homes feel like cozy fall anyways? Well, here are a few things that I do to make my home feel ready for the season, that doesn’t involve a Hobby Lobby haul….

Warm & Inviting
Thick warm blankets! I have a stack for Spring/Summer, and a stack for Fall/Winter. They are stored in a chest and it’s an easy swap! A big warm blanket draped over your couch gives an instant feeling of coziness. It’s inviting, and pairs well with a warm cup of coffee (with pumpkin spice creamer of course!). What’s the difference between a summer blanket and a winter blanket? Here’s my stack of summer blankets heading out for the season…. they are colorful, light, and fringy.

Looking for the perfect Fall/Winter blanket? Check this one out! It’s chunky, warm, soft, and basically begs for you to come curl up on the couch with it!
Bringing the Outdoors In
2. The second thing that is so inspiring in our homes are of course beautifully colored Fall leaves! I love to snip off a couple of tree branches, stick them in a vase of water…and wah-lah, you have a table centerpiece or a gorgeous mantle statement. Don’t discount what’s happening outside, God is wonderfully creative! Fall leaves should be enjoyed indoors as well!

Adding Fall Scents to Your Home
I don’t know about you, but scents are HUGE for me in my home… it instantly ignites that feeling of a cozy space. Get your diffusers rolling and pull out your fall scented essential oils! That’s also the nice thing about a diffuser, SO many recipes with just a few bottles. Plus it’s actually purifying our air vs. loading it with toxins and VOCs found in many candles these days. Thieves, Cinnamon Bark, Nutmeg, Clove, & Orange are a few of my favorite Fall oils. Find these oils on YoungLiving.com or jump into our oily community and grab your starter kit HERE!
🌿Also, don’t forget to add a few drops to your Thieves Household Cleaner to give it an extra boost of Fall scent!
Here are a few of my favorite Fall diffuser recipes…

Also, THIS diffuser blend is SO GOOD!👆🏻/👇🏻
