Black Mid Century Modern Dresser

This is what I call a “quick flip’! Sometimes you get those pieces that are just about in perfect condition… and all the furniture painters say “YESSSSS!” The hardware was nice, and it was very clean upon arrival which is rare!

I loved the brass “feet” on this piece, so I knew I wanted to have those babies stand out! When I’m trying to help brass make an appearance- I typically lean towards a darker color! I went ahead with Wise Owl’s One Hour Enamel in Jet Black (because it’s such a GREAT black!).

Mid Century + Brass Hardware + Black Paint = Winning!!! Take a look at the finished product!

I love how this piece turned out! This shade of black by Wise Owl is so fantastic! It’s eye catching and rich, that’s for sure! The really nice thing about the OHE, is that there is no topcoat needed, and the sheen is so nice! Sometimes, sealing black paint is super tricky. It’s hard to keep away brush strokes or lines from the contrast of dark and “clear”… so having the built in sealant with this paint is amazing!

Let me know what you think of this piece! Have you used the OHE yet from Wise Owl? If not, give it a whirl and let me know how you like it! Talk to you soon!
