Sometimes I wonder how I was lucky enough to scoop up THIS piece or THAT piece… I’ve found some good ones over the years of refinishing. I was browsing the furniture section of my local marketplace and saw that this beautiful Stanley dresser had been sitting for awhile… I instantly fell in love with the hardware and the bun feet.

The hardware felt modern and masculine to me, so I knew this piece had to be 1. Painted a dark color, and 2. Have some sort of dark stain on it to really bring out some moody vibes.
I went with General Finishes “Coastal Blue” and stained the top with Minwax “Jacobean”… the end results were perfect, and exactly what I was envisioning for this piece! To add some extra charm, I even sanded down the bun feet and stained them in the Jacobean as well… take a look!
